World Upside Down

“World Upside Down” is a sculpture by Indian artist Anish Kapoor that is located in Jerusalem at the Israel Museum. Just as many of Kapoor’s other works, the sculpture is made from stainless steel.
The title of this sculpture evokes a mysterious upside down trip in which shadow and light play with the eyes of the spectator, creating an ever-changing experience.

Kapoor’s sculpture is in the shape of an hourglass with a diameter and height of five metres. The sculpture, along with Kapoor’s other works including C-Curve, Sky Mirror, and No Object, was part of the stunning modern exhibit held at London’s Kensington Gardens.
