AUTUMN SMOOTHIES
Autumn fruit is wonderful for our health and makes for a great afternoon snack. When prepared with the right combinations of fruits, seasonal smoothies not only taste delicious but also provide a fun burst of color. Here we offer two fantastic versions.
VITAMIN C SMOOTHIE
A boost of vitamin C is the best preparation for the arrival of winter and reinforcing our immune systems. This smoothie is rich in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins, and is very easy to make.
INGREDIENTS
- juice from half a lemon
- 8 strawberries
- 1 banana
- half an apple
- 1 teaspoon raisins
- 1 teaspoon goji berries
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- a pinch of black pepper
- 250 ml orange juice
POMEGRANATE SMOOTHIE
Pomegranate smoothies are full of concentrated potassium, zinc, phosphorus, as well as vitamins like A, B, C, E, and K.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 bananas, one cup soy yogurt
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- pomegranate seeds for garnish
