September is a month of returning to post-summer life. Returning to the city after holiday, to work, to our physical workouts, to activities, and also to lower temperatures after the heat of August. How can we find a healthy mix of a not yet finished summer and our very busy schedules? Perhaps a few relaxing hours by the pool and a healthy, energizing snack would do the trick. Smoothies are a great alternative to your normal snack, and a perfect recharge after an afternoon of swimming.

Ingredients for the Banana & Kiwi smoothie

– 1 banana
– 1 kiwi or 1 apple
– 150ml of milk, soy milk, or water
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, optional
– 1 teaspoon cane sugar

In five minutes of very little effort you’ll have a delicious smoothie, rich in vitamins, potassium, and magnesium.
